Designed for: students who have already taken the 72-hour Wilderness First Responder Course and are wanting to renew their certification
Refresh your life-saving skills and confidence in emergency situations. This intensive 3-day course is designed for wilderness enthusiasts, outdoor professionals, lay people, and first responders looking to recertify and enhance their rescue capabilities. We will dive deep into medical, traumatic, and environmental injuries along with the leadership and critical thinking skills needed to respond effectively to emergencies with limited resources. There will be a large amount of scenarios with participants acting as both patients and responders as we gain insight and share learnings of how to most effectively and compassionately support our patients in a time of crisis.
