About Outerlands

Outerlands was born out of the desire to make medical knowledge and services more accessible to all - especially along the intersection of outdoor and remote recreation. Numerous physical, socio-economic, and psychological barriers exist that prevent folx from comfortably thriving in the outdoors - access to medical knowledge and care being a large component. Our goal is to decrease those barriers by providing tailored and comprehensive medical training.

Our team of certified medical professionals and experienced outdoor enthusiasts are dedicated to providing high-quality education. Each course is catered to the particular work and life hazards of the group,  offered with numerous course lengths and certifications, crafted with flexible scheduling, and various sliding scale fees to accommodate diverse needs. Every training is a blend of classroom lectures and hands-on scenario practice maximizing learning styles and keeping people engaged as they prepare for the unknown of emergency medical responding.
