The Premium Kit includes all contents from the Standard Kits, with the final addition of (1) QuickClot Hemostatic Dressing and (2) HyFin Chest Seals. The QuikClot® Bleeding Control Dressing, a type of hemostatic gauze, uses kaolin (an inorganic mineral) that accelerates the body's natural clotting ability and helps blood clot up to five times faster on it's own. This helps the first responder control life-threatening bleeding faster than traditional gauze. The HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack provides users with two vented chest seals in a compact packaging designed for the prevention, management and treatment of an open and/or tension pneumothorax potentially caused by a penetrating chest trauma. Two Chest Seals designed for the treatment of entry/exit or multiple penetrating wounds.
